I wish I had a bigger bosom, I mean BUXTON

There is a certain commercial that me and the fam. make fun of every time it comes on. (Well, we make fun of most commercials.) Anyway, this commercial is for the Buxton Over-the-shoulder boulder holder organizer bag.

Anyway, I finally admitted to myself (I've been told the first step is admitting you have a problem) that deep down in my little ole' soul, I really want one of these things. I am 40 years old and although I have searched all my life, I have never found the perfect purse. (Or bathing suit, but that's another post.) But this one can organize hundreds of items, fits comfortably over your shoulder so it can't be stolen, AND it expands to hold 2 full-sized water bottles AND an umbrella! It even comes with a handy little voice recorder for remembering things you need from the grocery store, and all for only 19.95 plus shipping and handling (which I'm sure is negligible). Gee whiz, could there BE anything better???

I don't know - it may be possible to carry too much stuff along with you.

Now, if they made one with nozzles just like the Space Bag (aren't they also $19.95 + S&H?) that would be AWESOME.

"I'll be right down honey, I've just got to shrink down my purse first..."

Later, at the restaurant
"I'd be happy to leave the tip, dear, but then we'd have to find a vaccuum cleaner so that I can re-shrink my purse. It won't fit in the car otherwise."

Yeah, that would be awesome. :)

Oh, EC, you are TOO funny. I really wish I'd thought of that. You could make a fortune on that idea.

I wonder how often you switch purses?

Kohls had alot of purses on sale the other day. I did see some with lots of organizational pockets, etc. And they were alot cuter than the boulder holder - I mean Buxton bag. As far as bad commercials go... I have been a little tempted to get a Snuggie! You know, the fleece blanket with sleeves... I know! I'm a dork!

Wani - I'm still recovering from googling the "snuggie" the other day when someone mentioned it on Facebook. That thing is weird!

Okay, first of all....I'm totally happy to know I'm know the only one who thinks "boulder holder" when I hear that commercial! Secondly, I'm also glad to know I'm not the only woman who still hasn't found the perfect purse. We have so much in common!
They have these at Walmart now. If you decide to give it a try let me know what you think ;)

Oh, I've been thinking about the snuggie too.

When did I become an old person? *thinks to herself*

Btw...I see you and BD are on the same wavelength regarding *boob* posts. It's nice to see a couple sharing the same interests even after how many years of marriage. Very sweet. :) -hunnybeemay

I think I would really love that bag, too. It seems endless as they open it and take out soooo much stuff!
But I don't want the bigger bosom. I would like to scale that down, thanks.

I got one for Christmas, and I'm not sure I want it or not.

OMG, I've found a soul mate! LOL I've been searching for the perfect purse all my life, as well. It's gotten to be the family joke, how many discarded purses I have in the corner of my closet.

I've had my eye on the buxton, as well. There's also one on LL Bean that looks like it could be my ultimate purse, and it even comes in my favorite color. Black Watch tartan. :)

I have to say, I was amazed by how much this held. I definitely had a little twinge of how great would this be for travelling?!

Haven't been by for awhile, hope you had wonderful holidays!
